Itinerary summary for a 7-day tour

1. Christchurch to Lake Tekapo
Start your tour with an airport pickup and drive south to the amazing blue Lake Tekapo

2. Lake Tekapo to Mount Cook then Queenstown
We leave Tekapo, stop at the pristine lake Pukaki, visit Mount Cook before driving to Queenstown

3. Queenstown
Take in Queenstown’s beauty and all the scenery and activities it has to offer, or add in a trip to Milford Sound.

4. Queenstown to Wanaka
Cross the mountains from Queenstown into wondrous Wanaka via the scenic Crown Range

5. Wanaka to Franz Josef
Wake up with uninterrupted views of the stunning Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps.

6. Franz Josef
Take in the stunning Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers, we drive to the base of both.

7. Franz Josef to Christchurch
Road trip up the wild west coast to Hokitika and back across the Southern Alps via the dramatic Arthurs Pass road
